What it measures
The probability that your account will drawdown to the ruin threshold before recovering. A risk of ruin above 10% means your current settings are dangerous over a large sample of trades.
Reduce your risk of ruin
- Lower risk per trade (1% or less is ideal)
- Improve R:R to at least 1:2
- Focus on higher-probability setups
- Set a hard daily loss limit
