Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
PIPSYNC is operated by TJ Kagan, a sole trader registered in Australia (ABN registered). We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
2. Information We Collect
We collect your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter or create a subscription account. We do not collect payment information directly — all payments are processed securely by Whop. We do not collect names, physical addresses, or other identifiers beyond your email.
We also collect IP addresses for security purposes — specifically, to rate-limit login attempts, our free demo tool, and other public endpoints against abuse. IP addresses used for this purpose are automatically deleted on a rolling basis (see Data Storage below).
3. Your Trade Journal Data
If you use the AI Trade Journal, we store the trade details you log (pair, entry/exit prices, lot size, session, outcome, and similar fields), any chart screenshots you upload, and any free-text notes you write (strategy, psychology, mistakes, and similar journal fields). This data is yours — we use it only to display it back to you and to power the journal's analytics.
When you use an AI feature (trade review, pattern analysis, and similar tools), the relevant trade and journal data is sent to Anthropic (our AI provider) to generate that response. See Third-Party Services below.
4. How We Use Your Information
Your email is used solely to: send your magic link login to access the PIPSYNC dashboard, send weekly newsletter issues and free resources (only if you opted in), and provide customer support when requested. IP addresses are used solely for the security purpose described above.
5. Data Storage
Subscriber emails, plan information, and trade journal data (including chart screenshots) are stored securely in Supabase, hosted in the Sydney (Australia) region. IP addresses collected for rate-limiting are stored temporarily and deleted automatically — within about 10 minutes to 1 hour for login/API rate-limiting, and within 7 days for our free demo tool's usage counter. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Cookies
PIPSYNC uses minimal cookies solely to maintain your login session on the dashboard. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request this, contact us via the Help & Support section in your dashboard, or by emailing pipsync.support@gmail.com. Newsletter subscribers may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
8. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Whop (payment processing), Supabase (data storage), Resend (transactional email & newsletter), Netlify (website hosting), Anthropic (AI processing), Sentry (error monitoring, to help us catch and fix bugs), and Google Fonts (web fonts — loading a page from PIPSYNC requests font files from Google, which can see your IP address as part of that request). Each of these services has their own privacy policy.
